City of Hope

Since 2017, support by the Wanek Family Project for Type 1 Diabetes has produced new advances in finding a cure. Reasearch at City of Hope have carefully developed the most promising of these approaches, and because of their findings, clinical studies are now underway to demonstrate their efficacy and safety.

HeartWorks

Created in 2020, HeartWorks was pioneered by the Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program, to develop advancements for Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Funds raised by Ashley's campaigns and the Wanek family have allowed HeartWorks to make extraordinary medical advancements.
