quick tips to help break in your new mattress

1. let it breathe

Before you throw on your sheets and hop into bed, it's best to give your mattress a few hours to air out. Opening the windows or putting on a fan helps.

2. apply pressure

To break in your mattresses a little quicker, try gently walking around on it, or use your hands and feet to put some pressure on it. This will help loosen up the materials and make it easier for the new mattress to begin conforming to your body.

3. be patient

Your new mattress takes time to adjust to your body. Sleep on your new bed every night to ensure that your new mattress has had a chance to fully break in. Just like your favorite pair of shoes, your new mattress will conform to your body over time.

4. it's a sleep system

Well-rounded sleep comes from more than just a mattress. See how the right pillow, base, and mattress protector play a pivotal role for optimal health and sleep. This includes proper spinal alignment and temperature regulation to help you sleep through the night comfortably on multiple levels.

verify your mattress foundation

Make sure your current mattress thickness is compatible with your bed - as it can cause gaps between the mattress and the headboard otherwise.
Talk to your sales associate as soon as possible if you are unsure.
